This weekend, I will be celebrating my sixth wedding anniversary with my hubby, so the timing of this post is pretty appropriate. 🙂 Last year, he was deployed and missed our first “milestone” anniversary, which I was pretty bummed about. I’m sure this year will be fabulous!
Anyway, I love how more couples are getting in on the trend of anniversary photography. Last year, I think I shot just as many anniversary sessions as I did engagements! And why not? It’s a great way to document each year, and the changes that come along. I had the privilege of photographing Becki + Mitchell a few weeks ago as they celebrated their FIRST wedding anniversary! Congrats, guys!!! The whole day was kind of amazing for me, too. It was President’s Day, and in the morning I captured a USMC homecoming, then I worked with Mitchell, who is in the US Navy. It was a pretty awesome Military Monday.
B + M are the most awesome couple ever. Really. We had a great time on our shoot, and I loved the ideas that Becki brought with her! Check out the super adorable chalkboard – with a line from one of their favorite songs a la Ray LaMontagne. I admit to listening to the album while I edited their session…it was just perfect! Here are some peeks from the first half of our session at Liberty Station.  I thought it was fitting that we snap some portraits in uniform at the former NTC! Second half from Sunset Cliffs to follow soon!
I love these. Of course, I should… my daughter is in the photos! Nice work Michele!!!! I can’t wait to see the rest. I have to admit that one of my favorites is probably the one of his cap covering their faces. 🙂
I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! Amazing work Angee!! We loved working with you and we cannot wait to see the rest of our shoot! Thank you so much for everything!! 🙂
[…] you see yesterday’s post with Part I of Becki + Mitchell’s session? Well, today I am thrilled to share Part II of their anniversary shoot! (And with another Ray […]
Thank you both, so very much!
