Happy Tuesday! You probably remember that I mentioned we are starting a holiday houseguest marathon here. Yesterday, I ventured out with our first round of guests: very dear friends of ours from Colorado who stopped for a few nights on their way to visit family. JJ is only 8 days older than my little girl, and he is a very important little boy. In July, we held a photo fundraiser to assist him in raising fund for his service dog. The good news is he met his goal and will be receiving his specially trained ASDA dog next year! I cannot say how excited I am for JJ and his family, especially because his dog is going to be crucial in keeping him safe and sound.
We spent a few days with JJ and his family here in our home, and will be sad to see them go. They ARE a part of my family, whether we are technically related or not. I hope they enjoy the rest of their trip to California, and that it’s not too long before we see each other again! (A year between visits is just TOO long!) I took my camera along on our trip to the park yesterday, and here are two of my faves of JJ and little brother, E.
