I was pretty excited when our Blog Circle theme this month was FALL!!! There is so much to love about Autumn! As much as we loved living in San Diego, you don’t really get seasons there. (I don’t mind all the sunshine and warm air, but you do miss the changing of the seasons, and even snow once in awhile!) Now that we are back in the Washington DC area, I am fully appreciating the benefit of having all four seasons – my favorite is definitely Fall!
What’s NOT to love about Fall? I mean, really. The air is cooler. Football season is back in full swing. Holidays are just around the corner. And my most beloved part of Fall: THE COLORS! Fall truly is the most perfect season for weddings, senior portraits, and family sessions. It also happens to be the busiest time of year for this photographer, so I had to jump on the chance to take my daughter’s fall portraits when I could! We shot a little earlier this month, and while I wanted to wait a little longer for more color, schedules just didn’t work out for that. We still got some great bursts of color, though! And lots of leaves! (The shot where she’s throwing the leaves is 100% REAL! Not an overlay!)
I always get lots of requests to see my personal work, so I hope you love these with my little model. She really is a natural! She is also really excited to read the comments below. 😉 For more great Fall posts, be sure to visit my friend Nicole Gulick Photography!
