Since we moved here, the United States Naval Academy has been one of my favorite places.  I love Annapolis in general, between the history, the sailboats, the shopping, etc., but there is just a special feeling on the campus of the Naval Academy. I love to visit for both work and play. It’s a great place to take a walk along the waterfront and among the stately buildings. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of visiting!

A few Saturdays ago, I was scheduled to meet Megan & Jordan in downtown Annapolis for their session. We’d talked about a session with themes of patriotism, history, and a little bit of a nautical flavor. Upon arriving downtown on Dock Street, it was clear that the first gorgeous day of Springtime had brought everyone out. A few quick phone calls later, and we were strolling the quiet streets of the Naval Academy. The sailboats had just been put in the water, the trees were blossoming, and the sun was shining. It couldn’t get much better than that!! Besides the perfect location, Megan and Jordan were just so easy to talk to and hang out with. I love it when my sessions are more like a meetup with friends for an afternoon chat. It was so relaxed and fun!
