It’s a GRAND New Year for the Powell Woulfe Photography family! I hope you all received much love, laughter and joy this holiday season. We have so much to look forward to in 2013, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
I am so excited about a certain something on the agenda, I had to share it with you all now. I’d originally planned to announce towards the end of February, but after hearing so many friends and clients say, “I wish you were closer to us!”, I had to let the cat out of the bag a little early. In 2013, I will be launching the trial of my Portrait Travel Program. For the past few years, I have made a trip or two back to the East Coast to serve my clients there. Well, now I’m taking it a step further. I’m taking my family, couples, and senior sessions on the road. In particular, I am looking forward to serving the following areas: Northern VA/DC, NY/NJ/PA, North Carolina, San Francisco, Denver and Seattle. Don’t see your area on the list? Destination wedding photography has been popular for years, and the destination concept is growing within the portrait market. It’s a great way to get truly unique portraits and stand out from the rest of the crowd! This has been a huge request for high school seniors, and I am so excited to come work with you all. I’ve had several seniors travel to SoCal the last few years, and we’ve had a blast. Just imagine how much fun we can have while you show me around your hometown! Or you want to meet me somewhere, that’s possible, too! I haven’t set dates for these locations, because I am leaving that up to you. I may even visit certain areas several times through the year.
So, how does this work? Well, to set a date for a particular location, I need SIX committed seniors, families, or couples for that general area. Seniors need to make a commitment at the Basic Graduate Collection level (families or couples at the Digital Collection I level). How do you get six people to commit? Ask your friends, share the Powell Woulfe Photography page and Facebook, talk to co-workers, classmates, etc. It is actually REALLY easy to do!! (Especially for high school seniors! Think about your sports teams, groups, neighbors.) A 50% retainer is due from each participant at booking, with the balance due at your session.
Powell Woulfe Photography portrait sessions are fun. But don’t take my word for it. Experience it! We’ll spend 2-3 hours together, hanging out, getting silly sometimes, serious at others. My clients get to be themselves, and usually forget the camera is even there. You can laugh at my terrible Chuck Norris jokes, and I’ll capture the real you.
The sessions will take place over a 3-4 day period, rain or shine. (Trust me: the rain and snow can actually make it FABULOUS!!) Because I will be traveling to you, your reveal appointment will take place approximately 12-24 hours after your session. You will get to view & order your images the next day!
